We collect information you provide directly: your email address, name, and profile information when you create an account. We also collect the study materials you upload and your usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration).
We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) process your uploaded materials to generate study content; (c) send transactional emails (verification, receipts, password resets); (d) communicate service updates if you have opted in; (e) monitor and prevent abuse.
Your uploaded study materials are processed by third-party AI services (such as Google Gemini) to generate study guides and practice exams. These materials are sent to AI providers solely for processing and are not used to train their models. We do not share your materials with other users.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). Files are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) service providers necessary to operate the platform (Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Vercel); (b) AI providers for content generation; (c) law enforcement when required by law.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Vercel Analytics to understand usage patterns. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
You can: (a) access and update your profile information in Settings; (b) download your data by contacting us; (c) delete your account and all associated data at any time through Settings; (d) opt out of non-essential emails in your preferences.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data, uploaded materials, and generated content are permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated usage data may be retained.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the Service.
